Neck and shoulder pain
One of the most common conditions chiropractors see and treat is neck pain. According to the National Institute of Health Statistics, neck pain is the second most common form of pain experienced in the United States, following back pain and involved with headaches and migraines. It is estimated that three-quarters of Americans will be affected by neck pain at some point in their lives.
As experts in the musculoskeletal system, chiropractors are the ideal healthcare providers to treat problems associated with the neck.

Pregnancy back, hip and neck pain
There are many possible causes of pregnancy-related back pain. Here are some of the most likely suspects:
Pre-existing lower back, pelvic or sacroiliac pain. Underlying, dormant or chronic conditions you may have learned to live with can wake up and become symptomatic under the influence of pregnancy hormones like relaxing and the effects of weight gain in the front of your body.
Excess weight can be caused by a number of factors. If you carry extra weight you may have been born cute and chubby, but those little rolly limbs and chubby cheeks might not have slimmed down and you may always have been bigger than you would have like. You may have been slim and athletic at school, but when you hit college, or got married or had children you gained weight that you never lost. You might suffer from depression, or high levels of stress related to work or home or both and rely on food to provide comfort. You may eat out of boredom, or you may never have been taught to cook and prepare food and now rely on pre-prepared food or take out in order to feed yourself. You might be that person who has a food addiction and cannot stop thinking food - either eating it or not eating it! You may suffer from an under-active thyroid gland or take medication that has caused you to gain weight.
Infantile colic, earache and reflux
Dr. Cheryl La Grange has been called the "baby whisperer" by many because of her gentle way of adjusting babies for the resolution ofinfantile colic, earache, reflux and more. Read on to find out more about Chiropractic care of infants and the benefits of resolving spinal issues in infants and children. Spinal subluxations often run hand-in-hand with sensory processing disorder, adhd, sleep issues, and so many other common chronic problems children are faced with today, it is not a far stretch to consider that a child's birth may be the origin of these problems.
If you have foot or ankle pain, you are in luck. Dr. La Grange is a foot and ankle specialist. She did her Master's thesis project on the efficacy of chiropractic care in the treatment of plantar fasciitis, and guess what? Well, it works! So let's discuss the two little feet: The human foot is a strong and complex mechanical structure containing 26 bones, 33 joints (20 of which are actively jointed), with over a hundred muscles, tendons, and ligaments. The joints of the foot are the ankle and subtalar joint and the interphalangeal joints of the foot.
Anywhere two bones meet is a joint that can potentially go out of alignment and need to be adjusted.
The ankle is a fairly simple joint and it responds well to the typical ankle adjustment. The relief can be immediate.
Most patients in our office that mention ankle pain have had it for some time (like months or years) and have just learned to live with it. They often mention it in passing and describe the ankle as feeling "jammed" or "pinching" when they move it.
Foot pain is another story altogether. The foot has 33 little joints and can go back out of alignment as soon as you start walking on it again, due to the increased pressure from your body weight. Since the joints are small, they can shift back out of place easily.

An adverse reaction to a food is often noticed because of the distressing nature of the symptoms, especially those that are gastrointestinal (GI) neurological, respiratory, or dermatological in nature.
Food sensitivity symptoms often involve the GI tract but can also be systemic. Related symptoms may be delayed and can occur hours or even days after exposure, making the primary "trigger" difficult to identify. In addition, "biochemical individuality" can influence how one reacts to a certain food or food component. This individuality may be influenced over time by many factors including the health of the gastrointestinal tract; the diversity of the GI microbiome; stress and psychological factors; physical activity; and even hormonal changes.
An overburdened immune system can contribute to an "overreaction" of the immune system and can manifest as food sensitivities. This is due to an "overloaded" immune system, a phenomenon that can occur when a certain threshold of exposure to toxins, chemicals, radiation, etc. has been surpassed. The immune system then becomes dysfunctional and loses tolerance to seemingly harmless compounds including foods.
Sensitization to foods may manifest as a "true" food allergy, which is mediated by IgE antibodies from the adaptive/specific immune system. However, food components can also activate the innate/non-specific immune system without the involvement of antibodies. Activation of the innate system triggers a series of immune mechanisms, especially inflammation. Non-celiac gluten sensitivity is believed to be such an innate immune response.
